Boutique shops also sell brightly coloured local sarongs - pareus. There is a wide choice of deluxe and first class hotels and resorts on Bora Bora to more moderately priced boutique style accommodation and pensions. Most of the resorts on the motu in and around the lagoon operate shuttles and water taxis to and from the airport and town of Vaitape.
