Lake Rotoroa Lodge is a stately 1920’s wooden two-storey property with ten rooms, all with en suites, refurbished to retain the ambience of the era. The outlook from the Lodge over Lake Rotoroa and towards the towering Travers Range is spectacular. Brown trout fly-fishing is amongst the best anywhere in the world. Other activities include horse trekking, white water rafting, gold panning, craft shopping, golf or a leisurely wine trail. An onsite helicopter is available for wilderness fi shing and daily excursions.
