Ningaloo and the Coral Coast

Nothing can compare to the thrill of swimming beside the world’s largest fish – the docile whale shark - which visit the waters of the Ningaloo Reef each year between April and June. Slip on a snorkel or don the diving gear to reveal an underwater wonderland: colourful coral, tropical fish, willowy manta rays and graceful turtles swim side by side with pods of friendly dolphins.

Ningaloo Reef is one of the largest fringing reefs in the world, stretching 260km along the coast and nearly 20kms seaward from the beach. Bounded by the small fishing townships of Exmouth and Coral Bay – both of which have retained their original charm and are linked by an endless expanse of sandy beaches - the Ningaloo Reef is approx 2 hours flight or 2 days drive north of Perth.
