interests

floraFlora, Fauna & Wildlife From the scores brightly coloured parrots, kookaburras and bushdoves that flock to the Observatory Deck each morning and afternoon, to the possums and gliders who are likely to accompany you on a evening stroll or the dozens of wild kangaroos and wallabies that freely graze the property, sharing the Australian bush with its friendly locals is one of the true highlights of a stay at Eaglereach.

hikingHiking & Walking More than 30kms of picturesque natural trails traverse the property. Guided or unguided, these walks of varying lengths and fitness levels reveal spectacular lookouts, tranquil lagoons, subtropical rainforest and pristine native bushland.

adventureSoft Adventure Stunning mountain vistas and untamed Australian bush are the backdrop for adventures on mountain bikes and kayaks, for walkers and anglers. Spend the afternoon paddling the tranquil lagoon or try your luck at ‘yabbying’ to hook a freshwater crayfish. Venture a little further a field and you could be riding through the bush on horseback or soaring over the vineyards in a hot air balloon.

spasSpa's Eaglereach’s tranquil mountain top setting is the perfect place to unwind with a relaxing massage in your room or a pampering treatment at the on-site day spa. Lowana Spa serves up a tantalising menu of body scrubs to nourish and rejuvenate your skin as well as a whole “chocolate obsession” treatment range of decadent muds, rubs and body polishes. Many of the lodges also have their own outdoor Jacuzzi – the perfect place to relax and soak up the sunset.
