Kawaha Point Lodge

Kawaha Point Lodge is a beautifully restored family owned retreat on the edge of Lake Rotorua. The property is set in mature gardens five minutes from Rotorua city centre. Accommodation is provided in eight delightfully appointed double ensuite bedrooms all with either garden or lake views. The finest New Zealand produce and wines are served and the Lodge offers the perfect place to escape into luxury, tranquillity and privacy.

Activities within 30 minutes of the Lodge include golf on one of the three championship golf courses, fishing for rainbow and brown trout in lakes and rivers, bush walks, horse riding, mountain biking or 4WD adventures.

Rotorua is renowned as the centre of New Zealand’s Maori culture and visitors can absorb this fascinating heritage by visiting local Maori points of interest, including a local marae (meeting place) and enjoying a traditional Maori performance. In addition visit nearby geysers, boiling mud pools and related thermal activity to experience one of the country’s highlights.
