The accommodation at Timara Lodge comprises of two suites and two bedrooms, ensuring that there are never more than eight guests staying at any one time. Food & Wine The Timara Lodge menus feature plentiful seafood like lobster, scallops, oysters, mussels, salmon and fresh fish from the Marlborough Sounds. Timara Lodge keeps an extensive cellar of the very best locally produced Marlborough vintages and specialises in the Spy Valley wine range - private tours of the adjacent vineyards can be arranged.
Homesteads, Gardens & Arts Amidst Timara Lodge's 25 acres of magnificent gardens is a five-acre lake and an extensive and immaculately kept English-style garden featuring sweeping fully mature lawns - some more than a century old, native and exotic trees, a historic arboretum, perfume garden, daffodil lawn, woodland walk, and a new rose garden featuring more than 350 roses. Private tours of some of Marlborough's most beautiful gardens can also be arranged.
