Dolphin Island

Sister property to Huka Lodge in New Zealand, Dolphin Island is a spectacular thirteen acre private retreat offering just eight guests the ultimate private Pacifc island experience on an exclusive-use basis.

Located just twenty minutes by boat from shore, on the tip of Viti Levu, the Island is surrounded by crystal clear waters. Guests arrive by the Island's private boat to be immediately enveloped by the beauty and luxurious accommodation that awaits. Complementing the natural landscape, the main bure and two guest bures provide idyllic accommodation with sumptuous interior design overseen by Virginia Fisher.

The main bure with its traditional palm-thatched roof is the centrepiece of the resort, providing a hub of rest and relaxation with a series of poolside areas host to day beds and feather-filled sofas. The guest bures are perfect for the tropical lifestyle, featuring timber floors, plaster walls, stone tiles, wooden shutters and high ceilings. Dressing rooms are spacious while bathrooms are well-appointed with an outdoor shower nestled in a private garden courtyard.

The Island host and staff provide the warm style of hospitality for which the Fijian people are renowned and will look after guests as much or as little as they desire. Cuisine is delicious and features fresh produce, Fijian flavours and tropical ingredients. Each day, freshly caught fish is brought to the Island so guests can select their preference from the day's catch.
